I've had this board for a few months and mainly used it to test chips. I've run everything from a 1.7 Celeron to a P4 3.4 and never had any probs. I just got a P4 3.06 and when it posts, it says 1600 133X12 as the CPU speed and Intel 3.06 as the "brand". If I go into the softmenu, the only options are 1600 and user defined. I've flashed to the latest bios but I still don't get any other options. User defined only allows we to bump the fsb and I want it at 133 but not with a 12x multiplier. I know the board is capable of a higher multi because of the aforementioned 3.4 which ran fine. I just have the board on my bench and can't install an OS so I can't run any other type of test to determine the actual CPU speed but I've never had a problem with it showing up correctly in the POST and bios screens.
Could it be a problem with the processor?
