IC7 and wireless network card crashes.

I have had this D-link wireless card for a while in my last system with no problems, but now that I got an IC7 it seems to make my system totally unstable. Whenever it isnt connected to a network, or trying to connect to one I get long freezes. This happens a lot when I first boot up and it is first connecting to my router. The worst times are when I first install the drivers, it will freeze my computer for 2 to 3 seconds at a time every couple seconds and therefore take forever just to get it to try to connect to the correct network. Once it connects it at first seems fine, but occasionally internet apps will freeze and not let me close them, even through task manager. When I play online games it likes to freeze on me too, or sometimes it will jsut reboot out of nowhere. My system specs are 2.4c P4, windows XP with all updates, and the card is in the last slot. Anyone have any problems with this card in this board, or any for that matter?

tried it in other slots and I still get craziness. anyone else have this card in this board?
