Is it normal that I had small CPU usage drop (first time in dropped from 100 to 60%, than I pressed stop and started again, this time was a smaller cpu drop - I think both times after 10mn)? tested in intel burn test, monitor cpu usage in OCCT

I tested now in Aida64 for 45mn, cpu usage was always on 100%, memory was always above 95%. So IBT AVX is the problem? Can anyone here with IBT confirm this?

CPU usage drop is NORMAL, in any stress-tester based off of Linpack code. It basically has "waves" of CPU usage.

And Mark, I ate a salad, two P&P loaf sandwiches, half a pint of ice cream, and cut out the Mt. Dew. Feeling a bit better, after a few nights of sleep too, although it was broken sleep. Still planning on calling my PCP on tues.

I saw that IBT makes cpu usage drop after every pass. So it is also normal in OCCT (cpu usage drop every time around 13mn)?

OCCT:Linpack, yes. OCCT:CPU, not really.

Ok, thanks.

I started OCCT CPU Linpack and after 1-2 minutes my PC was unresponsive, I couldn`t move mouse, couldn`t turned numlock light on keyboard, complete block. After some 30 seconds everything was back to normal. I think that this behaviour I only saw in OCCT...

In OCCT I saw that clock from 3391 falls to 3342mhz than rises up. That was in OCCT CPU test. In aida didn`t notice that...

Also is these speed in IBT in my test (around 110 gflops) normal? I heard that it must be way more, around 150gflops?
