Heya,
Well as the title suggests I have a few queries...

I just recently got an iBook which is my first Mac, and yes it is pretty darned swanky ...

This leaves me now though with two PC's running Win2k (Pro, Adv Server), a Mac, iPAQ handheld and a ADSL connection using RASPPOE Protocol.

What I would love to do is get my little home network running wireless.
What I am planning on doing is turning one of the two PC's into a Linux router. I would then just have it used to solely share my ADSL connection and a Printer. If I put a wireless network card in the Linux Router, iBook, iPAQ and Desktop PC would I be able to get them all connected to the Net and sharing the one printer?

Do I need to buy a a wireless Switch/Router? Or would having Wirelss cards in each device be sufficient. I hope I have provided enough information to make it clear what I am looking at doing...

Any help would be much appreciated ...

you need a wireless access point... having a router with a built-in wireless acess point wont hurt...

remember... you can use different card brands... just make sure they are ALL 802.11b compliant.
