My daughter mushed up the AC adapter for her iBook G4. Was over at a friend's house, plugged it in, when they moved the bed she forgot it was plugged in there. It's being held together with rubber bands, but gotta replace it.
The regulation Apple version is in the $80 range, but I'm seeing other aftermarket versions, like one at Amazon, for as low as $30. Is this something i better stick with only genuine Apple parts? Sure would like to save the $
