On Sunday I called them because my laptop (Thinkpad R32) was having some power problems -- it wouldn't software reset, so I had to power down and power back up if I wanted to restart. It would shut down fine, though.

Talked to their tech support about it, let them know that it happened both in linux and in XP, and they said that it was probably something wrong with the system board (their usual guess with laptops).

I received a box on Tuesday (was overnighted to me) to send the laptop to them. I called Airborne and sent it out the same day I got it, and today I got the laptop back, fixed.

Cliff notes: Had laptop problem on Sunday, was fixed and back to me today. IBM rocks.

I'm happy with my Dell laptop, and had a similar support issue success. I think my next laptop will be an IBM though. I love how IBM has kept the look consistent with their Thinkpad line. I have an old P100 IBM laptop, and it pretty much looks the same as every new Thinkpad that comes out now :)

Yes it is great, they did the same thing when they replaced teh screen in my T20. I now have an X31. Next laptop will problaby be another T series. I just wish they had integrated DVI out(so u dont' have to buy the port replicator), since I don't have a desktop anymore. My 1900FP runs fine on analog but I want a 20" LCD that runs 1600x1200 and analog just isn't acceptable for it.
