IBM Z60t has a nasty screen

I've been considering a 14" Lenovo with an X1600, but not after checking out a Z60t at Microcenter. It was the 1440x900 14", so I assume it's the same panel. It was bluish, and had a strange fuzzy look, like you get with a poor quality VGA cable. One of the worst LCD displays I've ever seen. I made sure the resolution was set to native, with no font smoothing.

No replies? I see so much praise being lavished on these notebooks all over the internet. Apparently no one cares about the screen?

This tends to be a slower forum. The also might be few Z60t users here. A better place to get info on specific notebooks would be notebookreview.com (especially the forum there).

really. heaven forbid he have to wait over a day for someone to reply. not everyone is on here 24/7 and not everyone has infinite knowledge of laptops :roll:

I'm just pointing out that this notebook forum doesn't have as many responders. Heaven forbid I suggest a place where the OP could get a faster response or more information on the model notebook he is looking at.
