IBM X40 ThinkPad - How do you output to TV?

I have an IBM ThinkPad X40, but not the dock nor base that costs ~$300. My laptop has a VGA output that goes to projectors, etc. But how do I output to my TV's SVIDEO or RCA jacks? I have this cable that converts from VGA <--> SVIDEO &amp; RCA. But I still cant output to my Samsung TV. Does anyone know how?

Did you try the FN button and the presentation function button? on my IRM R40 its FN + F7. If that does not do anything, try going into display properties -> Advanced settings and look for enabling a second monitor using the VGA out.

Yeah. I tried that and I see the little 2 green icons showing that both displays are being turned on. Are you using a VGA <--> SVIDEO converter or something?
