Are any of the big consulting companies easier to get in than others? I'm thinking of applying to Ernst and Young after I graduate next year.

My step-brother worked there. It is a shell of its former self. Yes the pay is good, but it no longer is a family geared business. You have to travel all over the U.S. constantly and they work you to death. Some people may like this but my step-brother didn't. The travelling was cool at first, but he was a newly wed and wants kids. He also wanted to buy a house. He was either flying or driving 5-6 days a week and staying in locations for weeks at a time. Finally he decided to get a different job working as an accountant for a energy company(I swear no joke). No it isn't Enron and no the company isn't in trouble. It is a company based out of Bham.
