I'm kind of lost when it comes to Bios and how to make things change without messing everything up so I figured I'd ask you guys. I need to be able to use 133 mhz ram rather than 100 mhz ram but so far all I get is the computer won't load. Obviously I can't use 133 mhz ram without some tweaking but I've also heard that it is impossible to make this kind of memory work with the 600x.

My question for you guys is simple: How can I make it possible to use 133 MHZ ram in my laptop when it normally can only accept a maximum of 100 Mhz ram. If there is a way to do this, it would be great because I have two 256 meg chips just waiting to be put in. Any help at all would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

The PC133 ram runs at 7.5 nanosecond which is the reason you can not
run it in your IBM Thinkpad as it does not support 7.5 speeds (only 10 or higher)

There is no BIOS update that would allow you to use it.

So I guess my best bet would be to sell off the ram?
