Does anyone have a restore diskette for an IBM thinkpad 600e or know how to get all the devices working properly after formatting and reinstalling windows 98se?
 
Gotcha, lemme dig around and see what I have. We have dozens of IBM Thinkpad 600, 600E, and 600X notebooks in the office. As for W98SE, what problems are you having?

I'm having an impossible time getting all the drivers to work. Right now, I have everything except the video. On the IBM siite they say that everything will only work if you use the supplemental file downloads while you are installing windows. I'm trying that now.
 
Install Windows 2000, I've formatted and reinstalled and everything works fine, including my Xircom NIC/modem. No additional drivers needed.
