Okay, so i'm working on a friends Thinkpad 360CSE...

Well, IBM's website is a flagarant piece of crap... I'm shocked at their ads where they, IBM, thinks they have a good web solution... well, their site sure doesn't show it...

Anyway, the display doesn't work on the laptop. If you hook up a monitor to the back of the laptop it works like a charm, but the LCD just won't work on it. It flashes for a moment than shows nothing, each time you boot up. The rest of the system is fine.

It's not a bios issue, I know that, so it's got to be hardware issue. However, I can't even figure out how to get into where the LCD is... the things built so that no one can open it (although, it's a piece of crap because the plastic casing is breaking everywhere.

Does anyone have a clue how to fix this or even how to get into the LCD area? Thanks!

There's a way to set where video is displayed: LCD, External or Both. You can do it with the blue fn key and one of the Fkeys or there's a software program on the laptop somewhere that you can set all those kinds of things.

I'd be more specific, but my Thinkpad is at work. BTW, IBM's website is fast and good.

If you can't figure out how to do it, PM me and I'll check out mine on Monday.
