IBM Thin CRT?

I think it was IBM that announced it, but anyway, it's the really thin CRT technology and I was wondering if anyone had heard any more about it. Price / availability / etc?

I have heard of thin crt technology before but not in the context of being related to IBM. If this is the same thing, then thin crt is the new name for field emitter technology. The way it works is by having all these little spikes behind each color element and sharp points can emit concentrated electric field lines. These points can thus emit electrons that strike the phosphors on the screen and there you go.
