IBM T41 Overheating?

Hi:
I bought an IBM T41 2 months ago. I absolutely love this baby. The last week or so, I have been noticing that the laptop heats up on the front left hand corner. The fan kicks in a little late, and then cools it off. However, before the fan kicks in, it is really hot, and I can't keep it on my lap.

Anyone else have this problem?

Haven't experienced that.. have experienced that the right palm rest heats up, to the point where I can't keep my hand on it :<
