IBM t23 fan problem??

So a friend of mine has a t23 lappy and he said the fan hasn't kicked on for awhile.

Are these fans easy to locate and buy? I've worked on other thinkpads but never a t23 and didn't know if the fan dying was common or not??

Anyone know where I can just buy the fan? I don't see any on fleabay
 
search IBM site for a schematics of the T series, get a part number and call IBM to order. If he is handy, he maybe able to replace it himself. If he is not, then better to pay someone.
