Got a couple of these on an auction, looks like I need dual-dual-link DVI to make it work, but how are the panels on these? TN? Something else? They were hooked up to SGI Octane2 boxes, but I'm giving those to my brother.
 
These monitors are way cool because of the resolution, although their response time and refresh rate are pretty horrendous and make them unsuitable for normal usage. They use IPS panels but very old ones that are probably worse than many modern TNs.
 
Hmm I guess I might ebay them or something then. They were from a company that did art for magazines, so I guess they're a few years old.

Yeah, they used to sell for something like $8500 when they were still available. I would hold on to at least one just for the coolness factor. 😀

Was in a "lot" of auction computer items, total lot was $900. Some Cisco stuff, SGI crap, mostly 3-5 years old.
