I've posted the same thing, no response. I don't notice any other ads so bad, can't be that hard to remove it.

I've upgraded to Firefox 4.0beta6, and enabled the Direct2D hardware acceleration, and at present, those IBM ads aren't slowing down the browser like they used to.

This ad has been brought up in at least 3 threads I know of and still never a single admin response? It's annoying as hell.

There hasn't been a response because I haven't been able to reproduce the issue. It's not slowing my machines down. But I'll forward this to the ad people just to see what they say.

The IBM process & analytics information ad is killing my netbook. It has a wireframe object in purple and blue and ends with 'It's time to ask smarter questions'.

Here's a smart question, 'Why am I spending 90% of my CPU cycles on your ad?'.

I will always hate adobe flash. Why can't they make it like photoshop ? Never really heard to many horror stories about that program.

I thought this was gone finally, but apparently it is back. This ad is terrible. IBM needs to fire their marketing team.

What else is new lol ?

I always wanted to know why did advertisers have to choose flash out of everything out there ? It is so horrible. Thankfully HTML5 is helping a little bit with getting Adobe to put their butt in gear with finally gets a 64 bit of Flash. Doubt it will help any sense most browsers aren't 64 bit and what reason would we really need it? So advertisers can send us even more complex demanding ads ? lol. Please no. Seriously hope I am wrong and Flash dies before then. When in the world did the internet transform to nothing but flash almost ? I remember a time when it hardly ever was on a site.

I've never had any kind of ad slow me down until this one. Like I said, it keeps getting brought up. I'm not the only person having an issue with it.

I keep on getting this ad lately and it's really frustrating. Pegging a 3.3ghz core with a simple flash ad?

You know what that earns? Me turning adblock+ back on for the foreseeable future on the forums.

You know I've always said no to adblock because ads is what keeps the internet going, but this one ad(which I'm starting to see on other sites too) is really giving me a good reason to change. Thinking about emailing IBM myself.
