IBM PC 365 memory compatability ?

Okay I know this is sort of silly but I was given an almost new ( in storage for years) IBM PC365 - Prentium Pro machine with only 32 meg memory . I was hoping to use the machine as w98 for web/email surfer for my Regular SDRAM DIMMs from my spare parts pile fit but don't work ...must be proprietary memory . Whats the story here ?

probably EDO DIMMs, I think the time frame those were around was about the same time Pent Pros were around. Does the POST screen mention anything about EDO RAM?

Should be EDO DIMMs.

The 440FX chipset for the Pentium Pro supports EDO and B-EDO RAM only. No SDRAM support.
