IBM's P96 monitor - the same as the Sony G400 - is available from the IBM.com website for only $299 plus shipping. This is for white monitors only - they are out of the grey monitors.

nice find, agreed, but shipping will probably kill this. IBM lists some of their clearance stock on ebay (click "auctions" link on ibm website), take a look at the shipping estimate for this monitor in the auction:

why not just buy at sams club B&M, same price plus tax, no shipping.
<edit> this is for a real G400 with sony parts plus the all important sony tube, not that ibm parts are bad, but may as well get the real deal for the same price </edit>
