IBM/Lenovo Thinkpad Mini-dock help

I have a Lenovo T60 with an ATI X1400 video card in it. There's no DVI output on the laptop itself, but the "Advanced" mini-dock does have one. I want to know if this DVI output would be able to output dual-link DVI to a Dell 3007 FPW.

The previous version of the mini-dock only worked up to resolutions of 1280x1024 according to Lenovo's website. There is no mention of a max resolution for this newer mini-dock.

The ATI X1400 says it can handle dual-link DVI output. In says "Dual integrated dual-link DVI transmitters". Whatever that means.

Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

Because I already did and the guy I asked didn't know the answer. He suggested that I goto an IBM retailer and ask to hook it up to a 30 inch LCD which most likely they won't have. I was hoping someone here had a setup with a LCD monitor that required dual-link DVI.

I'm sure i'll get some WTF looks from them if I go in packing my laptop with docking station asking to plug it in. LOL.

Can't hurt to try. As long as you don't have a centerfold wallpaper or something they probably won't mind showing off their wares.
