IBM/Lenovo laptop owners: How quickly did you get your machine?

I ordered an X60 last night and they now estimate the ship date to be December 5. I've been spoiled by Dell's ridiculously fast turnaround time.

Anyone know how accurate Lenovo's estimates really are?

X series has a 12" screen. T series has a 14.1" or 15".

I needed a 12" so I never looked into the T series beyond its screen size.

To be honest I have no idea, when it arrived I was fairly surprised. I think it took MAYBE a week, with that said, when I had to get a replacement optical drive, I recieved the drive OVERNIGHT, now thats FAST!

IBM usually vastly overestimates the shipping time. When i ordered my T41, they said it would ship in 2-3 weeks, it shipped the next day from Taiwan and I had it 3 days after I ordered.

You'll like the X60. I've had one since earlier this year. I didn't buy it directly from them though. I got a cheaper price at another site. 🙂

Also got the dock and the extended battery.

Awesome, thanks! I did get the dock, but held off on the extended battery. I'll see how much battery time I really need.

they said my t series laptop would arrive in about 3 weeks. it actually arrived in 1.

my buddy ordered a t60 about a month ago, it took just a little over 3 weeks for it to arrive, so your ETA sounds about right.
