IBM laptop problem. problem running music cd. have to insert dvd first to get it to work.

Hi,

I am having problem with my DVD/CD Writer on my thinkpad. I can't get the music cd to run everytime I start my thinkpad. the only way to get it to work is to use the dvd media first. After inserting the dvd then I am able to run the music cd just fine.


anybody knows what's wrong with it? I am using the original dvd and cd.
