My friend has an IBM 13.5GB ata66 HD #djna-371350
it's been reformatted and when he tries to install Win Me (i know, it sucks...), he gets an error message saying something like "can't write to drive c: due to error" in the middle of the installation.
he's tried the ibm HD utilities and they check out fine...what should he do???
This is on a Dell 733 xbr...
