IBM Hard Drive Problem

I cannot get my Promise Ultra 100 to see a 46 gig IBM HD when setup as a slave off of
a 100 gig WD HD. The controller card will not load either of them when the IBM is connected,
but if I take the IBM off and set the WD as master no slave it sees it fine. I checked the jumper
settings and they were ok. I am running Win XP
