:disgust: just got this drive from ibm rma. Last time i started the computer got the bad sector message, did a check and showed 2 bad clusters ahahaha. I have had this drive 3 weeks. Should i put it back in the box and send it to them once again

Anyone know the policy on this i just want to do alittle research before I contact them again🙁
thanks

Where did the error message come from? Did it say you had a 'bad sector' or 'bad cluster'. Bad clusters are not a physical problem but a file problem caused by a program not writing a file correctly, resetting the computer without shutting down properly, etc. and are corrected by running Scandisk or chkdsk depending on what OS you are using.

Hello, just ran the ibm fitness test and got the message not all sectors could be repaired disposition code 0x70. Any idea what this means
thanks

you got a code!

that means you can technically rma it back to the bastards...

that's only if you want to though
