IBM Deskstar jumper settings

If anyone has had experience installing an IBM Deskstar, maybe you can help me out. I can't seem to get the harddrive to register as 60.0 gigs. Everytime I boot, my computer will only register as 30.0 gigs. I checked the jumper settings and found out I had originally put it as 30.0 gigs. So I changed it to what I thought was correct for 60.0 gigs. Well, I tried it and I'm still just registering 30.0 gigs on my computer. Any help will be greatly appreciated.
 
makes sure to follow configurations for the 16 head jumper settings on the top row of the back of the hd.
