IBM Deskstar 75GXP & K7T Pro 2-A problem

I have encountered a problem with installing an IBM Deskstar 75GXP 20GB hard drive on to K7T Pro 2-A motherboard. Hard drive detected fine, first part of Win2K installation passed fine but second failed with a blue screen saying ?Hardware Failure?. Hard drive fitness test by IBM passed fine. So I have no clue what the problem is? I have another hard drive that works fine.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Give us more info man. What do you have in your system, etc. Bios veresion, cpu temps. Could be anything, for instance, I had a problem installing win98SE. Went throu 99% of the way then I'd get the BSOD. Tried a different disk and it worked perfect. Strangely enough, the disk I was originally using never had a problem before. Go figure.

I had a friend with a 2a that was getting the Hardware Failure message when installing 2000, bios update from 2.2-2.4 solved it.

BIOS flashed to 2.4
