i just bought me a ibm deskstar 120gxp 40gb and when i installed it and power it on, i heard a clicking sound comeing from the harddrive. is the harddrive bad? i ordered it from googlegear.
 
Does it seem to be working otherwise? You should prolly go ahead and run IBM's diagnostic on it. I would venture to say you got a dud.
