I want to replace some older( SLOW ) 3.2 and 6.4gig UDMA-33 hard drives with IBM 15gig ATA-100 Hard Drives ( DTLA-307015 ). The motherboards are BX ( Abit BH6 ) and 810E ( Intel i810EEAL ) chipset. Is it "safe" to use these drives on the built in controllers without any compat. or data corruption issues ? Are the IBM drives known to be backward compat. ?
