I used to have one myself, and it really was nothing but troubles installing an operating system or adding hardware to it. I've a friend that also has one and I have been stressing myself out over installing win2k pro on it. It won't just boot with the cd, so I made the 4 boot disks, after I had inserted the 4th during the process of booting up with them I got a message saying it couldn't find the CD. Even more problems came when I tried going into the BIOS, it seems it has a really dumbed down BIOS without many options at all. I unplugged the keyboard to see if it would prompt me to go into the BIOS (hopefully one with more options) and to my dismay it was the same screen.
I was mostly curious if any one else has experienced problems with IBM Aptivas. And if you had, do you happen to have some support links for these PC's specifically.
