Hi Guys,
I am buying this harddrive this week and just wondering a few things.

As far as I can remember this HD will already come with a factory format right.....so I just need to set up my partitions in FDISK??

Wondering how would be the best to partition this harddrive?? I know the boot partition should be about 2 gigs but what do I do with the rest????

Thanks Guys...

Yeah, you should just partition and go. As for the partitioning scheme, it really depends on you. I prefer about 5-10 in my boot partition, but I install everything but games there. If it' strictly boot, 2-3 should be fine. It's really a matter of taste.

You'll still need to run format.exe after you set the partition(s) on it to get Windows to recognize the disk (I just did this with my 46 GB 75 GXP's...man what nice drives they are!); I've got one dedicated strictly for .mp3's...!!!
