Yea.. like 3-4 times each day, I can hear a "beep" coming from my case followed by an intense 2-3sec of harddrive loading

I tough it would be my harddrive doing this beep.. but.. theres no damn speaker on it.. hehe

It's a 60gig..

Really, I donno if anyone tell me what's wrong (hope im not killing my harddrive in some way)
 
The other day I was working with a samsung drive and it was beeping.
It was dead already, it wouldnt be detected by the bios and I couldtn hear/feel the motor spin.

Anyway backup your data.. I think its failing.
 
I'm experiencing a similar problem with my WD 6.4GB hard drive.

Though it doesnt really bothers me, I can wait for 3 seconds twice a day. 🙂
