Okay I have a IBM 600e laptop with a malfunctioning LCD.
When I power the laptop up, it displays image briefly ( no red or pinkish tint ), then the screen goes blank.
I thought it was just the inverter. So I go ahead and install a new inverter and nothing. Still doesn't work and does the same thing.
Anyone know what the problem could be? Is it the back light going out? If so where it the backlight located and is it easy to remove? I have the LCD pulled from its shell but I don't wanna mess it up.
