UPDATE:

To avoid the rape on handling charges, buy from PCMall.com. It seems like the exact same store (same navigation, products, but different customer database), and charges around $13 for shipping. This is $10 cheaper overall.

The i series from ibm is so so. I was considering one, but i don't think i can live without a floppy drive. Its gonna be hard to reinstall a differnet operating system without a floppy. I ended up getting a dell inspirion for $1200 shipped.
