I am completely and utterly confused. Here is the problem. I have a P4 2.4 B 533 CPU that is stable at 180 FSB. I also just got an AOPEN AX4SGN (i865G) motherboard. I have a single 512 Stick of corsair 3200 c2 memory.
When I set the FSB to 170 and try to run the memory at 340 mhz, it won't boot AT ALL. No settings will get it to boot at all. Now, I borrowed my brothers samsung DDR 333 memory and could boot up all the way to 425 MHZ. I know for a fact that this corsair can do ddr 400 without breakin a sweat (2-2-2-5-1). What the hell is going on? When i use DDR 333 memory my system is extremely stable, but when i switch to DDR 400 its completely unstable and won't even boot when i try to overclock.
