i understant i need a CNR card to use the i815e integrated networking, so where do i get those? who has them? how much they cost? is it any worse than normal pci network cards?

I haven't seen an CNR card yet but I have seen AMRs and the price was around $10 - $15 for a modem. Not worth it in my opinion. A CNR NIC will have your CPU do most of the work. It basically the "Winmodem" of network adapter. If the price remains around $10 - $15 why not just get a regular 10/100 Ethernet adapter? I got my 10/100 CNet PRO120 for $5 it works great. A Linksys or Netgear can be had for $10 - $20 depending on where you shop.

the intel i815 has an integrated hardware ethernet card, so its just like a real network card you just need the cnr slot as a hardware interface.
