i7 930 4.3ghz to i7 3930k

Is the upgrade worth it?
I am running an Nvidia SLI setup at 2560x1600. I mostly game on the system.
Just looking for suggestions and opinions at this point.

i predict u will get like 5 more FPS TOPS using the same video cards from upgrading to that platform... thats provided u can pull 4.0ghz+ on the 3930k.

so is 5fps worth it?

Personally... cost of new cpu... + cost of new board + cost of extra ram chip for quad channel..... => id rather get a Samsung Evo 840, as it could shave off several minutes in loadtimes on games regardless of 930 vs 3930k.

i am also a gamer... so my gamer side tells me... u should get a SSD, or a larger SSD instead, as any other upgrade wont be much from your standing point.

Curious how much of an improvement it would be to get a l5639. Currently running an i7 920 and a w3520 here so would be good to know if its worth while to swap them for these
