According to the conclusion, you get chipset integrated SATA 6 Gb/s and full USB 3.0 performance.

I know what the conclusion said. I'm more curious about what people on this board have to say. I read a lot more intelligent comments here than on the many blog sites.

Most particularly, I need to replace a mb for an i7 875k. I've got a SATA III SSD. Wondering if a board like this is preferable to an As.s or a Gigabyte board, especially since the latter are in short supply right now.

It's a waste of money is what it is. If you're buying P67 get a 1155 processor

I disagree.
If the OP has recently bought the 875K, then he/she stands to lose quite a lot of money if trying to sell it on. Now that SB is out, the 875K second hand value will probably drop rapidly.
Given that the OP already has a SATA 6Gbps SSD, and P55 Marvell SATA3 sucks, the P67 Transformer might well be a viable option, IMO.

As someone with a new i5-760 on a cheap H55 mobo, this looks very promising to me. I'll probably get this mobo when it becomes available.

^ This is the best option. Just take the new motherboard and chipset upgrades and keep the CPU. LGA 1155 will be dead in a year or two anyway so there is no point wasting money in selling that CPU for a new one.
