So I have an i7 6700k with a Stock Intel fan but the temperature is getting really high. (Pictures below) After gaming for 30 minutes my Temps got up to 100c? I have nothing Over Clocked. I don't know how to Overclock so I haven't tried it. I just bought the i7 6700k for its raw performance power.
My computer was built February 2016.
I took my fan off and put it back on after re-applying the thermal paste. Turns out that when I built it I might not have pushed one of the Fan pins all the way in into the motherboard causing my CPU not to cool properly. However even after fixing this issue my temps are reaching 85c from gaming for 30 minutes?! this can't be correct?
Picture #1 (Before fixing Fan)
Picture #2 (after fixing fan, notice the temps went down but still not good enough)
Here is also this, you who knows what all this means might be able to tell if something is wrong.
