i7-5820k vs 4930k in FSX

FSX is the game I play most frequently on my PC. I right now have an i7-4930k at stock setting. I'm looking for better FSX performance with 3rd party DLC but I feel that downgrading to a quad core from a hex core is a step back especially with DX12 API coming soon. Would a 5820k be faster in FSX than a 4930k or about the same in FSX? Should I step up to a 5930k instead if I right now have a 4930k?

FSX basically gets it's speed from one single core so you have to overclock as much as possible.
Going for more cores will change absolutely nothing for FSX it's all about the speed of the cores.
