i7-4820k: 3.9GHz turbo boost

I recently purchased an i7-4820k and don't like the way the turbo bins are set up by default. Only when 1 core is active does it turbo boost. When 2 to 4 cores are active then there is no turbo boost. The i7-3770k which is the mainstream high-end Ivy Bridge has more aggressive turbo boosting. It turbos 1 and 2 cores active to 3.9GHz, 3 cores active to 3.8GHz, and 4 cores active to 3.7GHz by default. The base clock is higher in the 4820k than the 3770k but real world performance is mainly in the turbo boosts. Will it be a problem setting up all my cores to turbo to 3.9GHz on my 4820k with vcore on auto or at least to turbo 1-2 cores active to 3.9GHz and 3-4 cores active to 3.8GHz?

Don't use turbo. Leave C1E on and step technology. Leave turbo off , now go OC and put proper voltage. You can reach 4Ghz without changing voltage. Put it on offset. You should be good. gl

You asked this once before, and the answer depends on your motherboard. I know that Asus motherboards have settings to where you can synchronize your turbo clocks, therefore turbo would always be 3.9ghz on all cores.
