X99 or Z97 for a new build?

  • X99/5820K for sure.

  • Z97/4790K for sure.

Decided to hold off on my x99/5820k rig for a few months longer and going to buy a drone instead. June was the target, after realizing that's when Fiji was dropping. I want to see how that stacks up with the 980 ti when that drops in Adobe Apps. But if I'm waiting till June, skylake is around the corner, so might as well see how well that does and worst case scenario, its only going to make DDr4 cheaper if I decide to stick with x99.
