i7-4770k from an i7-3930k and gaming

About half the time I game on my PC and the rest of the time I do work, browsing, and use Photoshop on my PC. I right now have an i7-3930k oc'd at 4.2GHz on all 6 cores. I was thinking about selling my 3930k but not the motherboard, and buying an i7-4770k and a new Z87 based motherboard from MC. I'd estimate that I would be out about $100 after selling my 3930k. What are my chances of getting at least 4.2GHz on an i7-4770k? Also when the Xbox One and PS4 come would it be better to have a little slower 6-core CPU (3930k) than a little faster 4-core CPU (4770k)?

Based on what ASUS said, getting 4.2GHz should be no problem, even with the crappiest Haswell chip.
What are you planning to do with the X79 mobo? Throw a 3820 in it?

Why? I bought a 3930K a week before the 4770K launched. 6 cores will increasingly come in handy as more and more games are multithreaded and it will easily be a lot faster in software that can take advantage of those cores. Plus you might as well drop in IB-E in a few months than springing for Haswell now.
