i7-3770k overclock assistance

So, I have an "issue" of sorts, in that I don't think I'm getting the results I believe I should be. By the way, if this is in the wrong area, just yell at me and point me in the right way. It didn't seem to fit in the "Computer Help" area as my system isn't really broken, just trying to get the most out of it?

My system:
i7-3770k
ASUS P8Z77-V LK
8GB DDR3-2033
Corsair H60 watercooling unit

Currently I'm running stable at 41x multiplier, at a voltage of 1.1. From what I understand, something like 44x should be a reasonable option, even at that voltage. However, I've bumped the voltage all the way to 1.2 and it couldn't hold stable under Prime95 at even 42x multiplier.

I should note that I am an incredible newbie to overclocking, especially this type. My previous system was a Core 2 Duo, which was just ridiculously easy (raise FSB until BSOD, done!). Maybe I'm a bit spoiled by that, but even comparing to what others are getting, I don't seem to be getting nearly the results I should.

Additional: my temperatures under load (from RealTemp) are sitting in the 71-72C range right now, after about 10 minutes of Prime95.

Is there something I'm overlooking? Did I just get unlucky with my chip? Is it something related to my build? Thanks in advance!
