i7 2600k high percentage usage.

Can anyone who has a 2600k processor help me out? Ok, so my problem is certain games push my processor usage to high numbers. An example would be Tomb Raider, which the most I have seen was 29% total utilization. Also Bioshock Infinite went as high as 43%. These are all total cpu usage. Are these normal numbers or do I have a problem? My processor is running at stock speeds and HT is on.

HT is /could be for future games ,
I mostly have it off.

it is good sign, as games that you play seem to be multi-core optimized
13% usage would be full utilization of one core. 50% would be full utilization of 4 cores. more than 50% would mean that games are managing to use HT to your benefit.

WHy on earth would you disable HT. It still works when you launch your OS ,, all 8 get worked lookin at speedfan ,,,,,, so you do get benefit of having 8 threads.
