i7 2600K + gtx570 SLI PSU

Hi,
I am building a P67 rig with 2600K and gtx570 SLI and will be overclocking to 4.5ghz+ on CPU. It will have 1 SSD and 1 HDD and a PCIe sound card with 8 gigs of ram. I have a thermaltake toughpower 850 that has worked for the past 2.5 to 3 years and I was wondering if this thing is good enough for the new rig. It would be nice to not have to spend $200+ on a kilowatt PSU, but if I have to then I will.
Thanks.

I have a hx850w and am building the same setup. It will work because I've read benchmarks that show a total system wattage of under 700w. I would be careful of running extreme load test though and might even back off the CPU overclock a little. You also have to take psu degradation into account over time. Good choices on hardware though. Great minds must think alike 🙂

I think I might go with a more powerful one then, because I don't want to push it too close. Man, can you damage the components if the PSU doesn't have enough juice? Or will you just run into stability issues?
