I'm inclined to say no, but I also wonder what your primary use case is with the PC?
There is a performance upgrade there but most likely the money would be much better spent on a new gpu or just saved for a future upgrade.
Ok I guess it is better to wait for 15 th generation or beyond most likely. Though I know I will need a new mobo by then.
What is your GPU and what resolution is your monitor?

IMO, unless you are aiming at getting ever last fps out of the card possible for competitive reasons, your 12700k should be plenty, especially given how hard the latest batch of AAA games are hitting even a 4090 with all the fancy features turned on. I think you are good on the CPU side for at least 1 more GPU generation if not more.
