i5 cooler options?

Thermalright is releasing a bracket for the new socket to work with their heatsinks. I would wait for more options because I prefer other heatsinks to cooler master.

I've been planning on using the Corsair h50 watercooler for at least one of the two new systems I'm building. The corsair forums have a post that a bracket for 1156 systems is about to hit retail. Supposedly it'll cost an extra $5 or else just a shipping charge. The h50 watercooler costs ~$80+s/h, so whether that's worth it to you versus some other cooling setup is debatable.

NewEgg only has 2 that are worth getting ATM. I know that a few others are coming out with updated brackets soon. The one you linked is just basically your standard Plastic Push locks, so no more trouble to install than any previous Intel Cooler.

The other option is also a Cooler Master. For the money this thing works great. It was my only choice at MicroCenter when I bought the parts for my pc. If I recall this thing lowered my temps over 15c.

Oh there is one more choice which I have heard is a pretty good cooler but is twice the price Second Choice.

I ordered the Thermalright ultra 120 extreme with a Sycthe s-flex 800rpm fan. The evga board I ordered can use 775 heatsinks, otherwise you need a bracket .

Scythe announced that a good number of their coolers already support socket1156 here.

I'm using the Ninja2 with a different fan. Other than having a hard time getting the push pins pressed down enough (same exact push pins as the Intel retail cooler) due to the size of the cooler it's been working well.

Thanks for the linky. The most disappointing aspect is: "Mugen 2 CPU Cooler is schedule to be compatible to socket LGA1156 but will be as ?Revision B? version with completely re-worked mounting clips by middle of November 2009."

The tuniq tower 120 extreme and Prolimatech Mega Shadow are available for lga 1156 and are top of the line coolers, if not the best imo.

Are there any benches for the new TT120 Ex against the Megahalems or the TRUE? also where did you see it in stock? I also didn't see mention on the Tuniq website that it supports 1156 out of the box.
