i5 chipset

Quick question. Is the Intel chipset software 91.1.1020 compatible with the new i5s? Or should we be using an older / different version?

Hey Giz,

wow, with your experience, thought you might be the one to answer such a question.

For a p55 ("5 series") chipset, the most recent INF on Intel's website is

* Product: Intel(R) Chipset Device Software
* Release: Production Version
* Version: 9.1.1.1019
* Date: August 18 2009

So, XXX.1020 is more recent. And, doing a search for xxxx.1020 only finds what looks like another post from you.

I don't find v1020 at all on Intel's web site, or elsewhere either.

Anyway, looks like you are way up to date with that.....
