i5 and i7 that runs on lga1156

hi guys my Motherboard is Dh55pj lga1156 and im currently using and i3 540
im planing to replace it with i5 or i7 but it dont know wich generation of i5 or i7 that fits lga 1156.
can u give me models of i5/i7 that works on lga 1156

i cant find the those i7 in our local stores list, are they already obsolete?
and if i find one will it be wise to buy one. i compared i3 3xxx vs i7 880 they seems to be even.

What would be the best thing to do
a)buy i7 or i5 running at LGA1156
b)replace my mother board or buy latest generation i3/ i5
 
They are 4 generations old already (have had 3 successors released). They're still respectable chips, but nowhere near bleeding edge.

Grab a Xeon X3430 off eBay. Done.
